It was hard to decide what to do for my ten this month. The highlight of our month was definitely this little trip to Southern Utah (Zion’s National Park and Sand Hollow State Park) where all of these were taken. That first shot was taken in the airbnb where we stayed. One of my favorite things about staying in airbnbs is exploring the light in a different setting since I feel like I practically have memorized the light in its every stage in every room of our house. I chose that shot of my husband in particular to start with because of the emotion, even though he’s just rubbing his eyes from the bright sunlight…This was a much needed trip after the past few months that have been extra grueling with his work. It was so nice to get away and everything really fell into place to make it great. Pictures 2-4 were taken in Zion’s and the orange rocks ones at Sand Hollow and some in between at the airbnb. I posted a bunch more in a separate post if you’d like to see here. And some of them are duplicates because I was too lazy to weed them out. Thanks for following. Now go check out my dear friend, Evelyne Lourenco’s post, who lives in Philadelphia but has been visiting us the last few days!!! I never thought I’d get to meet her anytime soon so it’s been the loveliest. She’s even more wonderful in person than I imagined and it’s an added bonus to meet her adorable family.

p.s. Here’s a pic of Evelyne and I together. More of our adventures together next month. photo credit: my husband
